Appearance:

  • crystal clear, bright, light yellow with just a hint of gold / rose / peach

Carbonation:

  • develops almost full coverage of medium bubbles when swirled but they disappear immediately, 1/4" head of small to medium bubbles when poured developing quickly to a small ring of tiny bubbles

Aromas:

  • yeasty, peach, grassy

Taste:

  • semi-sweet, tart, just the right amount of peach flavor, a little bit funky

Mouthfeel:

  • smooth with just a hint of acidity

Finish:

  • quick and clean

Tasting Notes / General Impression

this cider was a surprise, I expected it to be sweeter and more peach forward but it's more like a farmhouse cider that pays homage to peaches

Matthew favors dry hard ciders with body and leans towards traditional English styles, and he’s also developed a serious appreciation for hopped ciders and creative flavor infused ciders. Though he prefers sweets in solid forms, he does enjoy semi-sweet to sweet ciders responsibly when the mood strikes. Learn more about our Chief Cider Curator here.
