On a mission to be an evangelist in the craft cider movement by doing his civic duty to taste test as many ciders from around the globe as humanly possible and share that information with the general public.

Originally from Wisconsin and currently living in Utah where the hard cider selections are limited for purchase, he’s made it his life’s work to seek out the best local craft ciders, cider bars, and tasting rooms wherever his adventures take him.

Matthew favors dry ciders that are full bodied, and leans toward traditional English farmhouse styles, but he’s also developed a serious appreciation for hopped ciders and creative flavor infused ciders. Though he prefers sweets in solid forms, he does enjoy semi-sweet to sweet ciders responsibly when the mood strikes.

Cider novice, digital publishing pro. Learning the hard cider industry one day at a time, though since this is an unpaid gig, I’m not quitting the day job anytime soon. We’ve got plenty of work ahead of us on this site, so please bear with us as we work out the kinks to get it up and running.
