Cider Maker’s Description

Two iconic flavors from north and south - Tennessee Whiskey Barrels and Vermont Maple Syrup are combined with tart crab apple and cinnamon. A sip of this cider is reminiscent of a fireside whiskey cocktail on a cold night with a warm blanket.

  • clear, bright, amber golden color

  • still

  • oak, bourbon, grassy, hint of alcohol (not unexpected at 11.5%)

  • tart, bitter, caramel, oaky, maple syrup, bourbon

  • balanced moderate acidity & astringency, thick and creamy

  • clean finish

Tasting Notes / General Impression

very full flavored & bodied, a very nice cream apple cider

Matthew favors dry hard ciders with body and leans towards traditional English styles, and he’s also developed a serious appreciation for hopped ciders and creative flavor infused ciders. Though he prefers sweets in solid forms, he does enjoy semi-sweet to sweet ciders responsibly when the mood strikes. Learn more about our Chief Cider Curator here.
