Cider Maker’s Description

We work with a team of local and regional foragers who source ingredients for ciders that respect the seasons. We never use stuff like high fructose corn syrup, or phony colors and flavors. Just Northwest and Idaho grown apples and other of the earth’s goodness.

  • hazy but still transparent, golden/light-golden color

  • very little carbonation, small to medium bubbles around edge but almost nothing on pour

  • chai tea, hints of funk, apricots

  • sweet, chai,

  • light astringency,

  • long

Tasting Notes / General Impression

very tasty, easy to drink, maybe their vanilla honey cider with chai?, not as smooth as their vanilla honey

Matthew Ostrander
Matthew favors dry hard ciders with body and leans towards traditional English styles, and he’s also developed a serious appreciation for hopped ciders and creative flavor infused ciders. Though he prefers sweets in solid forms, he does enjoy semi-sweet to sweet ciders responsibly when the mood strikes. Learn more about our Chief Cider Curator here.
