2 Towns Ciderhouse Imperial Hop and Stalk

Review: Imperial Hop & Stalk by 2 Towns Ciderhouse

Sweetness: Semi-Dry

ABV: 8.00%

Cider Maker’s Description

An outrageous amount of Citra hops, locally grown Crimson Red rhubarb, and fresh-pressed NW apples create a trenchant hard cider with huge floral, citrus, & passion fruit notes. The outspoken dry-hopped character of this cider is best when fresh, so make sure to exercise your Stalk Hoptions before they expire!

Appearance:

  • Crystal clear, bright, golden color

Carbonation:

  • Medium bubbles at first pour with small rising bubbles following, small bubbles in center after swirl that dissipate quickly

Aromas:

  • Hops, hay

Taste:

  • Semi-dry, hops, tart

Mouthfeel:

  • Lightly tannic, moderate acidic bite

Finish:

  • Medium

Tasting Notes / General Impression

Full bodied, great summer cider. I could sit and session this cider, but after the first bottle I don't think I would pick up on all of the subtleties.
