Cider Maker’s Description

Our McIntosh is a single variety cider featuring Bitterroot Valley apples. Considered the finest growing region in the world for this heirloom cider apple, it is here this fruit fully develops its characteristic flavor and floral aroma. This medium-sweet cider, fruits & tart with a note of cinnamon, was awarded Best of the Northwest Varietal Cider 2014 & 2015. Delightful on its own or paired with grilled pork or poultry.

Matthew favors dry hard ciders with body and leans towards traditional English styles, and he’s also developed a serious appreciation for hopped ciders and creative flavor infused ciders. Though he prefers sweets in solid forms, he does enjoy semi-sweet to sweet ciders responsibly when the mood strikes. Learn more about our Chief Cider Curator here.
